Objectives

Applies knowledge from physical, biological and behavioural sciences, and medicine including alternative systems in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities.

Communicates effectively with individuals, groups and members of the health team and demonstrates skills in teaching to individuals and groups.

Provides nursing care using critical thinking skills based on steps of the nursing process and utilizes the latest technology and trends in providing health care.

Practices within the framework of code of ethics and professional conduct and acceptable standards of practice within the legal boundaries.
