HLG Institute of Nursing was established in 2023 as a unit of HLG Memorial Hospital Pvt. Ltd., based in Asansol, West Bengal.
Yes. HLG Institute of Nursing is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC, New Delhi) and the West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC), and is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS).

Admissions
Admissions open ahead of the academic session, which commences on 1 October each year. Watch the Admissions page for current dates.
Admission is merit-based (10+2 marks) with counselling and document verification. Final decisions follow INC and WBUHS guidelines.

Eligibility
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English — minimum 45% aggregate in PCBE (40% for SC/ST). Minimum age 17 on or before 31 December of the admission year. Only unmarried female candidates. Must be medically fit.
Indian citizen and West Bengal domicile. Passed (or appearing in) 10+2 in any stream with at least 40% aggregate. Age 17–35 years. Must be medically fit and produce a medical fitness certificate.
English, for all subjects of study and examination.
Course Structure
The session commences on 1 October each academic year.
B.Sc Nursing follows a semester pattern under WBUHS. GNM follows an annual examination pattern.
Yes, both courses include an integrated internship within their stated duration.

Yes — a girls hostel with well-ventilated, spacious rooms is available. Hostel accommodation is safe and supervised.
